Sherlock Holmes : The Complete Stories (Wordsworth Editions)

Ini, review ala kadar saja.

Ini adalah cover. Tak terlalu cantik, but it said, the illustrations are from the Strand Magazine, which was published in UK from 1891 to 1950, composed of fictional stories and factual articles, where the works of Conan Doyle and some other well-known writers were first published in this very magazine. According to what I read before, The Last Bow was supposed to be the end of Sherlock Holmes. I read the story when I was in school, but already forgot what it is about. But, as I remembered, Holmes is dead in The Last Bow. But, the body was not found.

But, due to demand of the readers, Conan Doyle at last write a bit more about Holmes, and in the last story which is The Retired Colourman, Holmes is said to live in the countryside, rearing bees and wrote a book about the creature. In the story, there was a conspiracy where Holmes disguised as an Irish-American and took part in the conspiracy, acted as a bad guy.

Well, I'm reading the fourth novel right now. Pening~~
